Kristin Fisher has joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. She covers everything, from NASA as well as Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies to the advent of space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the field of space and has spent the last five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. While there, she also covered impeachment trials for the president, the 2020 presdiential campaign and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as the Vice President extensively. It included a secret trip to Afghanistan. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter prior to joining CBS in the year 2015. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for corporate clients including Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she received at Boston University. She is currently living in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their 3-year-old daughter.
